Welcome to our web site, VoteJarvis.com!

Many of you may remember this site when I ran for Congress and Town Council.  Although I am not running for any office yet I would like to keep people informed on what I believe is going on in national and local politics.  As always, feel free to read through the site and email if you have any questions or comments.

Labor Day
Labor Day is the traditional start to the campaign season and for the next two months people will be bombarded with campaign literature.  Now each party will try and explain what they plan on doing if elected, but it seems as both parties are saying more of the same, arguing with one another instead of dealing with the problems facing America at this time.  The Democrats have said if they win control of the House they will start investigations and possibly impeachment proceedings against the President.  While I believe that mistakes have been made, impeachment proceedings will do nothing to solve the problems and will only slow down the government to a standstill.  What is needed is candidates who will put the interests of the country before their political party. The public is looking for  a representative who will say what is right not just what is popular.  As an independent candidate the only people I answer to are the voters in the district and I respect their views and will always choose what I believe is the right way.

Running a campaign is a significant challenge. It is difficult to get a message out to as many people as possible in a short time. Also since my campaign does not accept any campaign contributions this web site is a great way to quickly introduce ourselves and educate visitors on the key issues of the campaign.

We hope you'll find the information you need on this site to make an informed decision. We look forward to hearing from you if you have any questions or need further information.
